Jaron M. Norman, President of Operations


Mr. Norman is founder and principal of DNIII Partners, LLC., a fast growing real estate development and construction consultancy based in Charlotte, NC. DNIII Partners is a legacy brand name that Mr. Norman carries from his father's accounting firm of 40 years - Dorsey Norman III & Associates. Mr. Norman grew up reading financial statements, analyzing businesses and learning the ins and outs of business at an early age. He discovered a natural talent for accounting software design, architecture and implementation. He has since developed custom software solutions and managed system implementations for a diverse client base ranging from transportation and logistics to municipal agencies.

In 1998, he found his niche in the Construction industry while working for Tarmac America in Norfolk, Va. Mr. Norman was tasked with the challenge of implementing a global cost tracking software for the construction aggregate mining, transportation and logistics division. His efforts led to a 18% overall reduction in operational costs. In 1999, Mr. Norman was recruited to Silicon Valley where he worked with AMR Technologies to pioneer advancements in online tracking and validation software for the Automated Merchandising Industry.

In 2000, Mr. Norman was hired by California Community Housing to lead the Property Management Accounting team but was promoted within a week to work with the CEO and Development/Construction group. It was here Mr. Norman learned the ropes of real estate development and construction. Over the next five years Mr. Norman would play integral accounting, finance and managerial roles in developing several high profile mixed-use and affordable housing projects in Northern California.

In 2006, Mr. Norman started a family and moved to Charlotte, NC. where he continued work as an owners rep for several development and construction companies. In 2009, he began working full-time with Campus Crest Communities as the Controller for Construction and Development divisions. Over the next five years he would play key roles in a preparing the company for a successful initial public offering (NYSE: CCG), and manage more than $1.5B of real estate investments in the student-housing sector.
